§ 1 Validity of the GTC / Definitions

This website is operated by Mr Malte Krummradt. All offers, bookings and services are subject exclusively to these General Terms and Conditions (GTC). We only recognise deviating terms and conditions if we confirm them in writing.

Definitions of terms:

„Courses“: All bookable courses at www.wingfoil-fehmarn.de/kurse

„Course participant“: person taking part in the course

„Booking“: The binding purchase of a course via the website or the booking form

§ 2 Services / courses offered

We offer various course formats in the area of wingfoiling. These courses are run by the owner or employees of the Wingfoil Surf School Fehmarn.

All bookings are made via our website using the booking form. The content and requirements of the courses can be found on the website. Course content may be adjusted depending on weather conditions or organisational requirements.

§ 3 Conclusion of contract / booking process

By sending a booking via the online booking form, the customer submits a binding offer. The confirmation is sent by e-mail and constitutes the conclusion of the contract.

The confirmation contains all essential information about the course.

§ 4 Payment methods

Payment is made in advance by credit card, instant bank transfer or PayPal. Other payment methods can be offered on request.

§ 5 Right of cancellation

Cancellation policy: You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period begins with the confirmation of the respective booking.

Consequences of cancellation: In the event of cancellation, we will refund all payments made within 14 days at the latest via the payment method used for the booking.

§ 6 Minors

Bookings may only be made by persons of legal age. Minors require the written consent of their legal guardians to take part in the course.

§ 7 Course organisation

Courses are run by qualified instructors from the Wingfoil Surf School Fehmarn.

Information on meeting points, material requirements and participation requirements can be found on the website. We reserve the right to make changes due to weather or safety conditions.

§ 8 Participation requirements / safety

Participation is only possible if you are in good health. Instructions from the training staff must be followed at all times. Alcohol and drug consumption before or during the courses is prohibited.

§ 9 Liability

Participation is at your own risk. Wingfoiling is associated with risks. We are liable for damage caused by gross negligence or wilful intent in accordance with statutory regulations. Instructions from the training staff must be followed.

§ 10 Cancellation / Withdrawal

>14 days before the start of the course: 100 % refund

7-13 days before the start of the course: 50 % refund

0-6 days or no-show: no refund

In the event of cancellation due to weather conditions, an alternative date will be offered. If this is not possible, the course participant has the right to a refund. Alternatively, further alternative dates will be offered.

Vouchers

Vouchers can only be used to book courses or services at Wingfoil Surf School Fehmarn. The value of a voucher will be offset against the price of the booked service. If the price exceeds the amount of the voucher, the difference must be paid before the start of the course. A cash payment of the voucher value - even in the case of partial redemption or non-utilisation - is excluded. Vouchers are valid for three years from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated on the voucher. The voucher is valid for three years from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated on the voucher. § 11 Communication

E-mails are considered a legally effective means of communication if they contain the sender, time stamp and identification.

The terms and conditions available at the time of booking apply. We reserve the right to make changes.

Our privacy policy applies. It is an integral part of these GTC.

§ 16 Final provisions

Subsidiary agreements must be made in text form.

Invalid clauses shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

The place of jurisdiction is Hamburg. German law shall apply to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
